Youth under 18
If you are under 18, be sure to read this with your parents/guardians,
and discuss it with them before entering personal information
into FIRST online systems. You must also enter contact
information for a parent or guardian.
Youth under 13
The minimum age for volunteering at a FIRST event
is 13 years old. In compliance with the United States Federal
Trade Commission's
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, effective April
21, 2000 , youth under the age of 13 may not enter personal
information (such as name, address, email address) in any
online systems. When FIRST collects information on
children under the age of 13, that is only done with verified
parental consent prior to collection. If we learn that we
have collected information from a child under 13 without
the required parental consent, we will delete that information
as soon as possible.
