FTC Grows in New Jersey
Continued from the September 2007 Newsletter
FTC is growing in New Jersey through a partnership with the Technology Studies Department at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and the Technology Educators Association of New Jersey (TEANJ). The program's New Jersey inaugural tournament was held in December, 2006 at TCNJ with sponsorship provided by PSE&G and BAE Systems. Plans are already well-underway for another exciting season involving a growing number teams from across the state.
The New Jersey FIRST Tech Challenge Planning Committee is chaired by Vincent Frascella, senior manufacturing manager at BAE Systems in Wayne, NJ. Vince also volunteers his time as a mentor with the award winning FIRST Robotics team at Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta, NJ.
