New Jersey FTC Scrimmage
The New Jersey FTC Scrimmage was held November 10, 2007 at Wissahickon High School's FIRST off-season event, Ramp Riot. The 2007 competition included
19 FIRST Tech Challenge teams from New Jersey. NJ/NYC FIRST would like to congratulate all attending teams on a wonderful scrimmage.
What a wonderful mix of talent and enthusiasm in these outstanding competitors!
Outstanding Team Graciousness
Driven Bolts - assembled and brought field elements, helped set up and tear down the fields, and loaned us their PC all day, which prevented their own folks from fine-tuning their autonomous mode.
Outstanding Adult Volunteer
"Big Mike" Schroeder - the day's Announcer and Play-by-Play man. He did a great job and the students loved him .as indicated by their voting. After two years, Big Mike is becoming the "Voice of FTC @ Ramp Riot")
Outstanding Young Volunteer
Tim Brooks (of Team #4, Driven Bolts) - worked the tedious job of Field Reset all day long. Volunteers from other teams worked their assigned hours, but Tim stayed the whole day and brought real continuity and efficiency to the operations. Great to see him get the votes!)
