NJ FIRST LEGO League
Championship Tournament
The New Jersey FIRST LEGO League Championship
Tournament is a FIRST LEGO League Tournament that will be
held at the Mount Olive High
School Gymnasium, date December 8, 2007. The 2007 tournament will include forty-eight
FIRST LEGO League teams from New Jersey, a large growth from the original 12 teams six years ago.This event is a community celebration of the achievements of middle school students (ages 9-14) working smart in science and technology.
With an additional 20 Junior FLL teams in
attendance, the 2007 Junior FLL expo will only increase
the excitement!
Note! Starting this year, entry into the NJ State Tournament will require qualifying as a winner of a local event.Depending on the size of the local tournament, the Champion's Award winner along with winners of the individual categories (Robot Performance, Teamwork, Research Project and Technical Presentation) will receive an invitation to the State Tournament. If second place awards are given out in the various categories, then these winners may also be considered.
