NYC FIRST Robotics Technology Leadership Workshops

In order to support our New York City FRC community-of-teams, the PolyBots, a student leadership and community service organization at Polytechnic University, will be hosting a one-day Technology Leadership Workshop. The workshop will be offered four times, November 10 and 17, 2007 and December 1 and 8, 2007 from 9am until 6pm.

Each workshop will include 3 strands which cover: team building and fundraising, the FRC kit of parts (chassis, drivetrain, electrical, pneumatics, and sensors), an introduction to EZ C Programming and C Programming, and tactics, rules and safety. Each session will conclude with a social event with pizza, music, and fun activities. Attendees will be able to purchase lunch in the Polytechnic University cafeteria.

We recommend that teachers, prospective coaches, volunteer mentors, and student leaders attend. This session is free and open to FRC teams from New York City. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 8 people per team and 10 teams per session. A waitlist will be used to admit more than 8 team members, as space permits. Registration is required.
